Rachid KHOURII’m Rachid KHOURI, founder of CADAuthority.com. I created this website to help CAD Managers solve the real-world challenges they face every day.

There are thousands of websites that teach CAD commands, software features, or beginner tutorials. Very few are dedicated to the people responsible for managing an entire CAD environment.

Why I Created This Website

I’ve been working with AutoCAD and CAD technologies since 1992, starting with AutoCAD Release 10.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a CAD Manager, software developer, technical trainer, course author, and Autodesk Authorized Developer (ADN).

I’ve developed custom AutoLISP applications, CAD automation tools, engineering workflows, company standards, deployment systems, and training programs for professionals working in architecture, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and design.

Throughout my career, I noticed the same pattern.

Most CAD Managers spend an enormous amount of time solving the same problems over and over again.

For more than 30 years, I’ve worked with CAD technologies in a variety of roles.

My experience includes:

In 1999, I founded an Autodesk training center in Canada where I trained professionals in AutoCAD and related technologies.

Alongside training, I’ve continued developing AutoLISP applications, productivity tools, and custom software to automate CAD workflows and improve engineering productivity.

That combination of technical development, training, and real-world CAD management forms the foundation of everything published on this website.
